2022 saw the UCI announce the inaugural Trek UCI Gravel World Series - 12 events across 4 continents. The Series has now grown to enjoy 30+ events globally. Ultimately, riders qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships at the end of the season.

GRAVELISTA is the world’s first official qualifying event for the 2026 Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Western Australia. Set in the rural town of SEYMOUR in VICTORIA, the event is a celebration of some of the best, and least-known, gravel riding in the country, located in an easily accessible destination.

The UCI Age Categories are defined by the rider’s age on 31 December of the year of the qualifier event. In our case, 31 December 2025.

GRAVELISTA 2025 is a qualifying event for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, in Nannup, Western Australia, with those riders finishing in the first 25% of each group being successful.

The 25% is calculated based on the number of starters in each age group, not on the number of riders having finished the race.

The first three riders of each official age category will qualify automatically for the World Championships, independent of the number of starters in that age group.  Riders must finish the race to gain qualification.

BIKES

Riders may use any type of bike (road bike, mountain bike, city bike, hybrid bike, cross bike, etc.) with the exception of tandem or recumbent bikes. Time trial road bikes are also forbidden. E-Bikes are welcome, and encouraged, in the Recreational events.

In addition to superb riding options well-suited to a UCI-level event, the visitor experience and amenities around the riding will ensure a world-class experience for all involved. GRAVELISTA will encompass a weekend of activity and celebration around the racing and riding, with an event village, fine food & drink, local produce and activities for supporters as well as riders.
